Rangers have no answers for Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk in Game 1 loss

Highlights and lowlights from the Rangers’ 3-0 Game 1 loss to the Panthers on Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final:

1. Matthew Tkachuk

Florida’s superstar was everywhere in this one, scoring the opening goal, laying hits and making his impact felt all over the ice.

2. Sergei Bobrovsky

The players in front of Bobrovsky made his night easy, but the netminder was sterling whenever called into action, including a toe save on Mika Zibanejad as time expired in the second period.

3. Aleksander Barkov

Barkov, the Selke Trophy winner, was all over the place defensively, doing the bulk of his work against a Rangers’ top line that never seemed to get going.
