How Taylor Swift ‘thrived’ in Super Bowl situation that ‘overwhelmed’ Jason Kelce

Even the other celebrities at Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas all wanted a piece of Taylor Swift.

On a new episode of Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, Jason, the potentially retiring Eagles center, noted how the Swift-Kelce suite was teeming with celebrities all wanting to talk to Swift, Travis’ pop megastar girlfriend.

Travis, the Chiefs’ star tight end, said he hadn’t had a chance to watch Usher’s halftime performance yet, and Jason explained why he also didn’t watch it.

“There was so much happening in the suite. Turns out everybody wants to meet Taylor,” Jason said. “Shaq came into the suite. I think it was my first, really, understanding kind of some of the things she has to deal with. … There’s so many star-studded people there where it’s like, dude, everybody wants to come see her, but the suite’s only so big. It was overwhelming, to be honest with you. It was very overwhelming. I was going outside the suite, I was talking to Keegan-Michael Key and his wife and a bunch of people. The celebrity attendance at the game was pretty unreal. So, I didn’t watch a lick of it either.”

“Vegas Super Bowl, baby. The stars are out. You gotta love it, man,” Travis replied.

While Jason was overwhelmed, Swift was in her element, according to Travis.

“Taylor thrives in those situations,” Travis said. “She’s been in them in countless times in her life.”

Swift, who flew in from Tokyo on Saturday after performing four of her Eras Tour shows there, arrived at the stadium with Blake Lively and Ice Spice.

Actor Miles Teller was among the celebrities in Swift’s suite as well.

While Swift enjoyed the post-game celebrations with Kelce and the Chiefs in Las Vegas, she will not be in Kansas City for Wednesday’s Super Bowl parade as she had to fly to Melbourne, Australia, where she resumes her Eras Tour on Friday.
