- PETE ALONSO: He’s a great clubhouse guy and he wants to and should stay a Met.
- EXPECTATIONS: Different approach this year. David Stearns wanted to do things a bit differently. Will fall to guys staying healthy. Definitely going to be the underdogs this season.
- CARLOS MENDOZA: Have had good interactions with him. He has experience coaching in NY.
- LIFE IN NYC: Rode the subway when he got here to see what it was like. Was a bit overwhelming at times. Lived in Long Island City for a while. Been a dream come true playing here.
