Olivia Dunne shows off her wild flexibility after Nashville trip

Olivia Dunne might not be in the middle of gymnastics season, but she looks to be in midseason form.

The LSU gymnast and social media sensation showed off her insane flexibility on the balance beam on TikTok this week.

Dunne pulled off an effortless handstand on the balance beam before transitioning to a split with her legs split wide along the beam and her right arm stretched forward.

After she was done with her performance on the beam, she hopped off with an ear-to-ear smile.

Many of her adoring fans admired her work, with one user saying, “I don’t think people understand the pure STRENGTH it takes to do this.”

One person in the comments joked that Dunne’s moves on the beam were “More flexible than my work hours (I’m unemployed).”

The influencer looked no worse for the wear after living it up in Nashville recently with some of her LSU friends.

While it was unclear where exactly Dunne and her pals were headed, she wrote, “Tigers take on Nash,” in her caption on a TikTok where she sported a crop top and jean shorts.

Her trip comes after the 20-year-old gymnast scored a season-high 9.850 on the uneven bars at the SEC Championships in March while she averaged a 9.788 on the event during her junior season.

Dunne, who boasts over seven million followers on TikTok, has had a whirlwind 2023 outside of her sport.

The year has included plenty of highlights, including a spread in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue that was released in May.

The stunning shoot was just the tip of the iceberg, as she has multiple brand deals, including those with Vuori and American Eagle, and is the highest-paid female college athlete with a reported NIL valuation of $3 million.

“As a woman, no one really expected a gymnast to be at the forefront of that. Most people expected football, baseball, basketball,” Dunne said to Sports Illustrated.

“Just getting the opportunity to be in SI Swimsuit was such a dream of mine and when it happened, I actually could not believe it.”

Dunne recalled, according to Outkick, that the hectic shoot would normally take six days, but because it was during gymnastics season, she couldn’t have that kind of time off.

She did her swimsuit pictures in one day in Puerto Rico and then went back to LSU in what was a rollercoaster week.

“I prayed for good weather and then I shot and I came back to school,” Dunne said.

She also teamed up with LSU basketball star Angel Reese at SI’s Swimsuit launch event in New York to commemorate the magazine’s publication.

But whether she’s showing off her moves in the gym or pulling off some “beach-nastics,” it’s no telling where Dunne will pop up and stretch next.
